February: Week 3


Day 49: Tuesday February 18, 2014: I got caught up watching the documentary 'Blackfish' that laundry took me all day. I had to also look up responses and documentation on some of the events. Really fascinating and sad.
 

Day 50: Wednesday February 19, 2014: Today was the first day of my adventure! For some reason I love airports, and the idea of traveling to a new location.
 

Day 51: Thursday February 20, 2014: Our sickypants host Lisa wasn't feeling well and wanted a lift to bed.  So that is exactly what happened. (It's a bit blurry)
 

Day 52: Friday February 21, 2014:  Went to two temples today. #1 Logan, #2 Brigham City.  Such beautiful places filled with love.
 

Day 53: Saturday February 22, 2014: Visited two more temples, #3 Manti #4 Mt. Timpanogos, then went to dinner with Kjersti. All awesome!
 

Day 54: Sunday February 23, 2014: Adventured to Evanston Wyoming... just for something to do.  It was a fun little town, and we were very silly.

February: Week 2

Day 41: Monday February 10, 2014- Went on a lovely walk/hike with some friendies around the Lafayette Reservoir!  It was wonderful, and quite a workout!



Day 42: Tuesday February 11, 2014- Cleaned up the loft at my parents house to prepare for their move, and came across my phone from England. I loved this thing and the random worm game on it.  I still can't believe I kept the phone but forgot the charger in Chilham... hahahaha!



Day 43: Wednesday February 12, 2014- Had a work meeting where the major issue we were told we would discuss was working with different generations.  Instead all they did was pass out paperwork for us to read for the new year.  (Not really the picture I wanted to post but I forgot to take a picture of Jessica's birthday dinner! Or the new game Heidi Doxey got me addicted to... flow.)



Day 44: Thursday February 13, 2014- So I have tried very hard this week to not go out to eat as much, and to not consume so much soda.  I have to say I was way more successful at work!  I drank a whole lot of water and water with the crystal light packets in in.  I need to make it a habit to bring my own healthier food to work.



Day 45: Friday February 14, 2014- HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!!! What do you think of my bling?  My friend Maria from work made me an awesome getting ready for Valentines kit... which included my amazing ring.  It is just what I've always wanted. =)



Day 46: Saturday February 15, 2014- Pink sock day at work!  Maria, Marissa, and Missy wore the socks I got them for Valentines Day, so we had to take a picture of it! (I just happened to wear my comfy pink socks to keep my toes warm.)



Day 47: Sunday February 16, 2014- Great way to keep my grumpy self from others... Truffles... Top Gear... Flow... not a bad night.



Day 48: Monday February 17, 2014- I got my hairs did... and I LOVE IT!



This next week should be exciting! I'm going on vacation! (But I chose Utah in February... not sure that was the smartest move.)     =)

February Week 1


Day 32: Saturday February 1, 2014- I think the trees outside work are confused... it is February and the trees think it is spring.
 

Day 33: Sunday February 2, 2014- **Warning for the swearing!** I am sorry but this may be the funniest thing I have seen in a long time.  It really expresses the frustration I have been feeling lately!
 
 

Day 34: Monday February 3, 2014- My coworker and friend Maria and I got this shirt for our 5k next month...the best part... it is SUPER soft!
 

Day 35: Tuesday February 4, 2014- Aubrey, Sarah Dawn, Erika and I went to Chili's and then went to see Gravity... saw it in the IMAX and in 3D.... crazy!
 
 

Day 36: Wednesday February 5, 2014- We found an awesome deal at Simply Fondue so we adventured there and had a FANTASTIC time!
 
 

Day 37: Thursday February 6, 2014- Maria and I drove to San Ramon to turn in our part time job applications.  I both want and don't want the job.
 
 

Day 38: Friday February 7, 2014- Laundry day! It was way beyond time for laundry! Not the most exciting way to spend a Friday night, but kinda nice to not eat out or spend money. =)
 
 

Day 39: Saturday February 8, 2014- Been looking forward to seeing Monuments Men for awhile. I loved the cast and the style of filmmaking. I also loved the people I saw the movie with.  Great night!
 
 
Day 40: Sunday February 9, 2014- My Sunday consisted of watching Jim Gaffigan on Netflix and playing Candy Crush.  Lovin' it!  Also loved spending time with Ella, Sarah Dawn, and Aubrey!

Week 4-5ish (to the end of January)

Alright, so I haven't been so good at the posting, but I have been good at the picture taking!  So here is all that is happened... up until today. =)
 
 
Day 21: Tuesday January 21st, 2014- I had a horrific migraine, and started my day hugging the toilet, but to make me feel better and to get out of the house, my friend Erika and I went out to dinner and then walked around downtown Walnut Creek.  I tried to get a good picture of us next to the creepy head water feature thing... well.. as you can see... I'm not to good at guessing what is in the background...I almost missed the creepy head water feature. (It's the yellow thing in the background.)

 
 Day 22: Wednesday January 22nd, 2014- We won the ultimate coffee break from the radio station 92.1 KKDV. They had coffee from Starbucks (not to exciting for me), and mini bundt-inis WHICH WERE AMAZING.  So happy Wednesday for all of us at work!
 
 
Day 23: Thursday January 23rd, 2014- I had to leave work due to wonky bowels and extreme queasiness... and laid down for a good nap.  Then my roommate (who was also not feeling well) and I decided that if we weren't feeling well we might as well do it at the movie theater, so we went and saw "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" and it was wonderful. I would recommend it to everyone; although I wouldn't recommend seeing a movie when you aren't feeling well, there were a few trips to the bathroom... =(
 

 
 
Day 24: Friday January 24th, 2014- I had the opportunity to spend time with two of my most favorite people (Aubrey and Lisa Harris), and we went and ate yummy Italian food.  I loved the butternut squash ravioli!
 


Day 25: Saturday January 25th, 2014- I got my very first pedicure ever! It was a really fun, and I had a really funny and sassy lady who worked on my feet and made fun of my hairy legs. (I forgot to shave)  It was a really fun experience and it was a great mixing of friends!


 
Day 26: Sunday January 26th, 2014- At church we learned of a ward challenge, that we read the Book of Mormon together over the next few months. I am excited because it will give me an extra push to improve on my scripture studies.  I just hope I can keep up!
 

 
Day 27: Monday January 27th, 2014- Day on the move; all over the place and seeing all sorts of people. I was good and went to the gym and had lunch with friends, then went to the movies, and dinner, and then went to one of my favorite places ever... Half Price Books.  And I took this awesome picture of the book man/crow thing. I think it is awesome every time I see it.  Had to document it!
 
 
 
Day 28: Tuesday January 28th, 2014- Aubrey and I goofed off at Pier 1 tonight and I just had to investigate this magnifying glass... owl.  I mean how cool is that.  And it was cool, until I actually looked through it and it gave me a headache.  Each side was a different magnification.  But it made for a very silly picture.
 
 
Day 29: Wednesday January 29th, 2014- Lazy day after the gym... I was too tired to even make a real dinner, so it was pears & cheese, and apples & peanut butter.  Yum!  I think it is just that I have been eating out too much and have had too much rich food. Whatever it was the fruit was perfect, and I loved it!
 
 
Day 30: Thursday January 30th , 2014- I had was a really hard and crappy day at work, so I had to get a giant piece of chocolate cake to make me feel better, so I did, and it did!
 
 
Day 31: Friday January 31st, 2014- Last day of the month and I completed my first month challenge! 31 days and 31 miles! It is so great to be back in the habit of going to the gym at least 3 days a week.  I haven't seen any changes on the scale (mostly because I haven't changed my diet) but I am feeling stronger and happier.  Now to get excited about February's challenge!
 
 

 January was a great adventure, can't wait to see what February holds!
